Well, we thought "what would go best with a baby?" Our answer, a PUPPY! (not really the best thing when you have a 6 week old baby to get a 6 week old puppy!) However, against the advice of my mom...we decided that the best thing would be to get a puppy. Our precious Paige (our old dog and first "baby") passed away 3 weeks after we brought Maja home--talk about a traumatic week...Paige ended up having lung cancer and had to be put to sleep. I guess you could say that she waited until she knew that I had another baby to take care of before leaving me...Well, the house without our dog was not a home. So, Maja got a new best friend...Lucy, who is only 11 days older than her! They do everything together, Lucy does not leave Maja's side. So, we now have two babies...but they are the best of friends!
